Information About Bella - Pretoria tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Bella. I am 3rd year animal science (BSc) student at the university of Pretoria. I am a patient and understanding person. In my early high school days I battled with physics and so I do know the struggle! I am passionate about helping learners do their best and build confidence.

Tutoring Experience:

Tutored 2 students from January all through the year last year (2025). Both of which had a huge improvement in marks. Tutored a matric student physics and chem in the months leading up to finals. Tutored a Grade 11 student maths, physics and chem only for test/exam prep.

Tutoring Approach:

My is to build confidence in my students. I try different ways of explaining something until I find a way that my student understands. I focus largely on practice material as this is the best way to build confidence in maths, physics and chemistry. My lessons generally consist of a theory recap, working through questions together, and then getting my student to do a question or two on their own (asking me questions if need be). I also provide questions for optional homework as extra practice and provide the memo for these questions when student asks for it.
