Personal Description:
A music graduate and secondary music teacher of 7 years. I came to London to study music at Goldsmiths and I specialised in performance and pedagogy. I have excellent teaching experience and understand first hand the challenges some pupils face, I am passionate about helping every pupil and instilling a love of learning and music.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught secondary music for 7 years in a school in East Croydon. I have also taught private instrumental lessons across flute, saxophone, piano and guitar, and have tutored GCSE music virtually. I also greatly enjoy music production and DJing and am happy to incorporate this into my lessons.
Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring approach is adaptable and flexible. Having worked as a secondary music teacher, I have experience teaching students with a range of needs and backgrounds. I aim to cater my approach to each learner's individual needs. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, manageable and with the right amount of challenge.
