Colin was brilliant. My daughter was extremely happy and always returned from lessons confident in her learning. She was averaging Bs and one or two Cs in Economics across the year, but finished her A-level exam with an A; only a couple marks off an A* and 98.5 in one of her economics papers. Colin seems to be doing well with my 13year old son, who is playing catch up on math. My son is far from the easiest person to teach and colin seems to be doing the jobI am happy with the good start we have made.

Colin is an excellent teacher and is skilled at explaining difficult points to students in a simple manner. My daughter is very happy with Colin as her tutor (as am I), and has have made excellent progress in the 3 months that she has been working with him.:)

Colin was coming to our house as arranged to teach my son GCSE Economics. This arrangement was working well from December 2017-end March 2018.On contacting Colin to see what his Easter arrangements were, we received an email back saying he was no longer prepared to travel to us and that we would have to travel to him if we wished to continue. That was never an option for us from the outset, so with only a few weeks to go before GCSE, we have been dropped with no warning which is highly unprofessional. There was never a hint that current arrangements might need to change.

I understand that you are disappointed that I am unable to continue making the journey from Oxford to Burford to teach your son.
During the spring term I was able to do this because I was able to come to you from another student in the area. In the summer term this will no longer be the case. I have offered to continue the tuition in Oxford if that is possible for you.
I have informed you at the start of the Easter holidays that I will not be able to continue in the summer term. I see nothing unreasonable about this timing.
I accept that I could have communicated this change to you more gently, and I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
