I am an enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced primary school teacher with 13 years classroom experience teaching children in Year One up to Year Six (ages 5-11).

Tutoring Experience

The majority of my teaching experience is in KS2 (ages 7-11) and I currently teach Year 6. I have expertise in preparing children for their end of KS2 SATS assessments and preparation for secondary school.

Tutoring Approach

I am engaging, creative and fun. I use positive praise brilliantly and give effective and constructive feedback to excel progress. I personalise learning to make it relevant and accessible to meet different children’s learning needs. I use a range of visual and practical resources, writing prompts and exciting curriculum stimulus. I build excellent rapport with the children I teach and they are very happy in my class and having me as a teacher.
