I am a qualified Physics teacher with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, giving me a strong foundation in both physics and mathematics. Over the past three years, I’ve worked with GCSE students in Maths and Science, as well as A-level students in Physics and Maths, helping them build confidence and achieve excellent results.
My lessons focus on student progress and exam success, with plenty of practice designed to strengthen understanding and improve performance under exam conditions. I’m skilled at breaking down difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps, always adapting my approach to suit each student’s learning style.
I also believe that physics should feel relevant and engaging. By linking theory to real-world examples, I aim not only to help students reach their academic goals but also to spark curiosity and a genuine interest in the subject. My priority is to ensure students leave each session more confident, better prepared, and motivated to succeed.
I hold a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering, which has provided me with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics. With over three years of tutoring experience at a tuition centre, I have successfully taught GCSE science and A-level Physics and Maths, helping students achieve their academic potential. Following this, I pursued a PGCE in Secondary Science and obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), further honing my teaching skills and expertise. Currently, I am a Physics teacher in a secondary school and sixth form, an outstanding institution where I teach students across KS3, KS4, and A-level. My experience spans a diverse range of learners, and I am dedicated to delivering high-quality education that inspires curiosity and academic excellence.
My teaching approach is student-centred, with a focus on building confidence, sparking curiosity, and adapting lessons to each learner’s style. I use a range of methods—such as visual aids, real-world examples, and hands-on activities—to make abstract concepts clear, engaging, and relatable.
I encourage students to think critically and take an active role in their learning by asking questions and working through problems step by step. For more challenging topics, I break complex ideas into simple, manageable stages to ensure a solid understanding before moving forward.
Alongside subject knowledge, I place a strong emphasis on exam preparation and technique, helping students develop effective strategies so they can approach assessments with confidence. My goal is not just to help students succeed in their exams, but also to nurture independent thinking and a genuine appreciation for physics and the sciences.
