I'm a professional teacher with an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Portsmouth. I enjoy doing a set of activities such as drawing, painting, and hiking. I also like to read various types of books and taking photographs.
I have been providing ESOL classes to Entry 2 and Entry 3 students in a college in Southampton. Previously, I remotely taught English Elementary and Pre-Intermediate students and provided remedial teaching sessions to grade 3 and 8 students at a public school.
Throughout each of these experiences, I utilized a set of teaching methods including the Snow Ball method, Think-Pair Share, Charades, amongst others. I also tend to bring in stories into my sessions since I believe that they enable learners to become better readers and listeners. Lastly, I provide a set of writing tasks since it enables students to express their ideas and develop further ideas moving forward.
