Personal Description:

I am a dedicated tutor specialising in French and art, shaped by my bilingual upbringing and BA Honours degree in illustration. I have a passion for education and a calm and supportive approach.

Teaching Experience:

With over six years of experience, I have taught children and adults across the national curriculum in primary, secondary and further education. Additionally, I have supported students with language studies for business and leisure. I currently work as a full-time tutor with a proven 100% satisfaction rate. Many of my students have achieved top grades (Grade 9/A* equivalent at GCSE and A level in modern foreign languages), while others have made remarkable progress, moving well beyond their initially expected targets. I have supported students through AQA, CEA, OCR and CIE exam boards.

My specialisms are French and art. I also support students in mathematics and English, drawing on my experience in both primary and secondary education in the UK.

My pupils progress in several ways. Conventionally, they receive the tools for academic support and improve study skills, comprehension and strategies. Socially, they gain confidence, metacognitive skills, and an appetite for knowledge.

During my time at university, I designed and delivered tutoring programmes to support homework and prepare pupils for national exams (SATs and GCSEs). These consistently enabled students to improve their grades and understanding, achieving results that surpassed their schools’ projections.

Every lesson I teach is fully tailored to the individual, designed to be engaging, challenging, and enjoyable—unlocking potential and building lasting confidence.

Policies

Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will incur a charge of 50% of the lesson fee.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time will be charged the full lesson fee.
Failure to attend without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation under 12 hours.

Payment
Payments made more than 7 calendar days late will incur a 20% late payment surcharge on the outstanding balance.
Lessons may be paused until overdue balances are cleared.

Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the lesson (where rescheduling is possible) will be treated as a cancellation and charged according to the cancellation policy above.
